And we’re off!  In the midst of making my mental check-list of things to pack, of course the camera was at the top of the list.  While I love photos, I was always that girl (yes, that girl…every group has one) that wouldn’t bring a camera and would just rely on others to capture the moment.  The hubs was sweet enough to get me a DSLR as I embarked on this silly little blog (err, have you noticed how rarely I use it?) so the pressure ON to take full advantage of the DSLR on our trip.

Which leads to the predicament – these cameras are not tuck-in-your-pocket or purse tiny.  How does one trek about town without looking like a fanny packed tourist who belongs at the Shamu show at Sea World?  I’m beginning to feel grade-school level stress of the acceptable way to wear one’s backpack – one shoulder or two?  Low slung or taught and well fitted?  Let’s turn to the blogosphere’s A-listers to see how it’s done.  See you in June!
